SB 151 (Thayer) would place the issue of gaming on November’s ballot and allow the citizens of Kentucky to decide whether or not Kentucky should allow casino gaming to help stem the loss of jobs in Kentucky’s signature equine industry. A recent economic study illustrates how this effort can produce 11,000 full-time jobs, as opposed to the continued loss of jobs without this opportunity. 87% of Kentuckians agree that we should let the citizens of Kentucky decide this issue. Chamber supported.
